Townsend has got no speed. Tigers had way more desire after HT. Morris would have praised at the break. Madge would have been tearing strips!

Where was Fifita?
Woods got them back in the game with azy efforts around the ruck. Leading to a line break and drop out, for Noofaluma to then waltz through Chad and Dugan and score. Poor efforts by the 3 most experienced players out there.

They won it on the back of their kicking game. Every Bomb was high and poor old Will Kennedy had no room. Our kicking game was shithouse every bomb was like a chip kick and their fullback always had space.

So many issues with this team:

• Attitude - they look like a team that just expects to win. Thing is, this team is quite different to the last few years and have no right to have that ego. The tries against are just lazy play - not due to fatigue.
• Communication - This team doesn't look like they talk out there. Brailey grubbering into the in goal, expecting Sorenson to chase. Sorenson just stands there. Backline movement and Johnson kicks it and Ramien and Mulitano are deep looking to run the ball.
• Quit very easily - When the Tigers tied it up at 16-all. Camera went on to Wade just before kicking off and he is shaking his head. They were broken and they were still in the game.
• Boring play - They had 2 line breaks. Against the Tigers. 4 offloads in the game. That's less than the Broncos on Thursday. They do not challenge the line with the "Townsend float across field and turn it inside" play.

This will be a long season.

This year is already a write off/rebuilding year. We won’t cry if we see some enthusiastic young guns who have proven lower grade ability/success, to try their hand at the new game of NRL. Ya can’t do any worse than these other disinterested, lazy, clueless flogs.

If Johnson was the superstar he is paid to be, Chad would be just fine. Good short kicking game, good chat. That’s all you need if you’re parter is a star. Shame he isn’t.
