Suck it up and use the ongoing media presence to sell our sponsors. Sell the players, don't whine. Be smart and place a f**king fridge full of oak in the background. Whenever a question about peps and Assad is asked, go off on a tangent and speak about barbas kicking game, Holmes speed or some charity work they have all done.

I agree with all that. It was handled very poorly and just gave journos more fuel. Given his reaction as if journos won't continue to try and provoke him at every opportunity.

If he's just ignored the questions there would be no story. Instead we're front and centre of the 6:30 news. Again.

Rothfield has no scruples in my opinion if he claims to support the sharks. The daily telegraph is our eneney and yet he is a fully fledged member of their staff. Perhaps he has a mortgage and is compromised for no other media outlet would have have him. He is a mercenary with only his immediate financial dues of importance and therefore any sense of fair and balanced reporting is at the mercy of his master who happens to be the sensationalist Murdoch press.
