no uncle nick is a carbon copy of ron jonesFrank Facer is the original Uncle Nick. Politis is a copy.
Lawrie was a big lad and dominated at u19s. Played NSW and Australia from memory. Fittler labelled him one of the best juniors coming through.I don't care what Molo said - he isn't a starter.
Not giving a 'pass' to Molo either, I think he's got more than he gives, but to argue him and Lawrie are on the same level is laughable.
I also didn't say anything about how many runs they average a game. It's metres per run, showing effectiveness in those carries. Molo beats Lawrie there. Molo also averaged just under 40 mins a game, Lawire a little over, so it's not level there either.
The intimidation I'm talking about should be fairly obvious, he can definitely put a shot on, Lawrie cannot. Molo came up with one of, if not the best hit of the year in the Eels game for example. I won't argue against that he doesn't have much of a motor, but I'm not arguing he's a great player either. He's just obviously so much better than Lawrie in every regard.
Will make a great skipper and role model for the NSW Cup side next yearLawrie was a big lad and dominated at u19s. Played NSW and Australia from memory. Fittler labelled him one of the best juniors coming through.
Hasn’t made the step up to NRL level, and in the top grade he doesn’t seem big or strong enough. The smaller props need to be very fit with loads of hit ups and he is not that type either..
Think he is best suited to UK style of game, ploughing the sodden turf, and his fitness over there won’t be such an issue

I'm referring to having a boss of a club that uses all his skills, advantages, guile, smarts etc for their beloved club to be successful. Facer was the original, Politis is the current.no uncle nick is a carbon copy of ron jones
Facer had the most money to spend so it wasn’t difficult for him to be a success. I will give him credit for recruitment timing in tapping players on the back and replacing them with better options ( until he kept Walsh, Clay & let Ryan go in 67 ) . Would be interesting to see how fearless would go in this era. I suspect he still would be the best CEO at the Dragons since himself !I'm referring to having a boss of a club that uses all his skills, advantages, guile, smarts etc for their beloved club to be successful. Flanno's PLAN B everyone !!! I like the man
Gutho will be 1 and likely skipperI have a feeling Gutho is done deal now. The money for Hunt will go to Gutho. Probably our staring Spine will be
Sloane (FB) with Holmes backup
Gutho (five/eight), Kyle (HB) - with LKT backup
Cooke (Hooker) - with Liddle backup and 14th (or the other way around Cooke's explosive speed from dummy half can destroy any tired pack.
Certainly has that feeling about it, I like the fact Flanno went totally stealth, no way Hunt goes if he doesn't have someone to rock and roll.I have a feeling they have snagged a halfback and no one knows about it yet
This termination of Hunts contract has come a lot more sudden than I expected
Confirmed by Webb we have not had some one sign as yet to replace HuntI have a feeling they have snagged a halfback and no one knows about it yet

If only we had him or someone like him. Our premiership strike rate would be legendaryFacer had the most money to spend so it wasn’t difficult for him to be a success.
