The Dragons are pleased to announce that Australian Schoolboys representative Jacob Halangahu has agreed to a contract upgrade that will see him promoted into the NRL squad in 2025.

Given what I missed and the media reports that's the official list so far.

I was confused with halangahu and late because so many lists out there in the media had them in the top squad.

We haven't had any confirmation of the 27th player, nothing announced about eisenhuth or lkt in top 30 yet

Few on here have said that he definitely isnt going (despite the persistent rumours), and tbf I think he is our starting right winger, so he would be crazy to go play reserve grade elsewhere...

If we do sign JAC, it would be left wing.. it does leave CTui/Feagai/Allan/Ramsey/Sloan potentially in reserves.. does feel like a couple too many there.. some of those are covering centre and fullback also mind you.

Sloan (over Finau) would be the new favourite for right wing now? Or is he only a left side player?
Assuming that Tuipolotu will keep his left wing spot to start the season.

My point is, in a 200+ game career, he's only played 5/8 a handful of times, 6 years ago, when Parra were in such bad shape they won the spoon. He's not a 5/8 mate.

All good Victoire. I don't agree however. I think he has all the skills to be an excellent 5/8. Not sure how Flanno will use him but the beauty of Gutho is he can play well anywhere in the backline.

His Top 30 deal ended this year and the club could easily add him as a development or train and trial player to help guide his return to the game

You would have to think even if there was a miracle and Ramsay came back, he would be a long long way off NRL, he deserves it but its a big ask for next year.
