That does seem like a more logical approach than fighting a random on the internet down the local Coles.I'm fine, all good, at home relaxing, having a game of soccer on my PS5. Don't need to get my hands dirty.
Yeah I might hungry afterwards and pick some groceries, feed two birds with one scone. That does seem like a more logical approach than fighting a random on the internet down the local Coles.
I was pretty sure you didn't mean post but clarity. Not that there is anything wrong with that. You blokes need to go have a wank and get some post nut clarity happening asap
Edit: spelling
It gets serious when one guy falls and hits his head on the concrete. That is when someone wishes to god that he had a time machine to go back and not get out of bed that day.Yeah I might hungry afterwards and pick some groceries, feed two birds with one scone.
Late breaking news, two St George supporters, have a big fight at local Coles, Cause - Local Police say it all started over the extention of Shane Flanagans coaching contract.

That's why I said to him from beginning, "I am quite happy to meet you in a Ring"It gets serious when one guy falls and hits his head on the concrete. That is when someone wishes to god that he had a time machine to go back and not get out of bed that day.
Deano of courseThis is persuasive. If we lost Flanno, who would we get?
I’d agree that we shouldn’t necessarily feel pressured to extend him. However for the first time since (and maybe even including Bennett) we have a coach who is actually articulating a smart long term plan to bring success to the club. It would be logical for the club to buy into and back this plan and consider extending him at some point even before his contract ends. Also there’s not going to be much quality out there in a year or two’s time. Bellamy certain to either retire or stay in Melbourne. Bennett close to 80. There‘s no other currently employed coaches I’d be interested in. So for me, it’s wise to at least consider backing the Flanno plan completely and at least put thought into extending him early, particularly if we’re performing well by mid season ‘25. Of course I wouldn’t do it based on an article by a clown like the Mole.He has 2 years left.
We brought him back into coaching. As fooked as we are, we deserve some credit here. I again don't see the need to upgrade now.
In fact, I see it as negligent. 2 years left, without a ball being kicked and we extend the bloke ?
Anyway mate. We won't agree on this.

DY has got our backThis is persuasive. If we lost Flanno, who would we get?
No I dont think that was quite it 56to66, I think it was all fine debating the SF extension, it was the statement made that not many on here are true supporters and want 1 or 0 premierships in the next 40 years, or something like that. That was a bit of a harsh post mate, knowing what goes on in this forum, I would say nearly all are diehard.Yeah I might hungry afterwards and pick some groceries, feed two birds with one scone.

Personally I think the Dragons would be looking at something mid next season, mad if they dont depending on how things are going. And as for this crappy article, it has achieved exactly what it was meant to do, clickbait. It wanted to stir the Dragons fanbase up, well it has certainly done that. I will place my trust in Flanno to do the right thing when the time happens.Fair call mate.
I'm thinking that any real success in 2025 and beyond would depend on our assistant coaches. We have heard Flanno on podcasts, SEN, in Website News and Sports Programmes etc and we can feel confident that he will get more out of the players next year.DY has got our back
I dont think we will have a choice to come up with better attacking plans Dave. Now that Hunt is gone, it cant revolve around him anymore, it should and hopefully become a team based attack. Defence may still be the issue though, even though we are a year advanced, hopefully that will improve as well. I am really expecting something totally different this year. FB defence should be way better for starters.I'm thinking that any real success in 2025 and beyond would depend on our assistant coaches. The question that I ask is will Flanno be able to get the best out of Dean Young and Ryan Carr? Have Young and Carr looked at how they can improve our defence and attack? We know that our for and against last season was poor so even though there was that improvement up the ladder from 2023 our for and against was not good by a long way in 2024.
Flanno's longevity at the Dragons in my very humble opinion relies on the ability of both Young and Carr to have the players defend and attack like crazy. I question Young's ability and as far as I am concerned, I wish that he had served a few years in the Super League. Also, our attack under Carr hasn't been brilliant to say the least, so a big improvement in attack is needed and if he cannot get us scoring more tries then maybe Flanno might need to exchange him for someone better?
I would like to see how we are travelling at least just after halfway next year before discussing Flanno's future at the Dragons. Likewise with his assistants.

It obviously hit a nerve with TruSaint, I love reading both your posts, doesn't mean I agree with them, but to call out someone's true passion and love for a club, that we all love passionately, that would hurt, and yes some people take that very personal. And here we are.
There, I'll leave it up to you to decide what to do, I've said my bit which is more than enough.
Be careful what your ironing isn’t Teflon coated and almost impervious to a hot iron until the moment that it explodes in your face.Reality is what exists between an individual's ears, it's not everyone's reality.
yes there is truth to what you believe as there is truth in what I believe
On my part 'ASAP' was probably a little hasty
But there is nothing to stop the lines of communication starting ASAP
Negotiations can take many months, by which time we should be well into the season.
My point is, you don't want to leave it till Flanno has multiple choices at inflated $$$
Strike whilst the iron is hot!
