Typical QLD mentality. If Tate wasn't injured they would have said we're dropping Folau for the good of the game. Now that hes injured, they're scared of losing with Tiquri or yow yeh so they flip
We Queenslanders know Origin better than NSW will ever do. Of course, we've done a backflip on our word with Folau. But he was always going to be chosen. Do we really care what is said from now on? Not really but we'll continue to stoke the fire when needed. It's all to our benefit. Remember first game when we convinced everyone that we were underdogs despite four straight series wins. We realise we couldn't use that tact in this game so we changed.
so we're going to convert AFL fans to league? is origin even shown on the same day in melb?
AFL fans arent going to suddenly start watching league cos of folau
I cannot believe i wasted my time by reading that iwant my time back.
:lol::lol::lol::lol:Here's your time back! wait a minute.:crazy:
Sucked in again.
Low.
For Queensland, beating NSW is the most important thing in the game.
Next to mine, right here!:arrow::arrow:Hey guys, where do I park my high horse?
MAROONS SHOULD HAVE GROUNDED FOLAU
by Sean Fagan – www.Tribe13.com.au
The QRL has selected Israel Folau for State of Origin II. Would I have chosen him? Short answer: No.
I would have been 100% behind Folau playing for the Maroons had he merely announced last week via a written press release that he had resolved his future plans for 2011 and beyond by signing with AFL, and that he would be making no further comments on this matter until his NRL season with the Broncos was over.
Instead, this presently contracted NRL player…
Took part in a AFL media stunt held for no other purpose than to gain publicity for the AFL and its new franchise, and at which he openly spoke in favour of AFL entering the western Sydney market and encouraged the community to take up the game.
Folau also gave valuable media photo/video opportunities with AFL officials, and allowed himself to be photographed by the media/AFL on an AFL ground with AFL posts in the background.
The only redeemable thing he did was decline to be photographed/filmed holding an AFL shirt.
Folau did all of this while still a contracted NRL player.
That’s why he shouldn’t be playing State of Origin even though he is still a NRL contracted player.

Low.
This is typical of the Queensland chip. Must beat NSW at all costs, its the only thing that matters. No standards.
For Queensland, beating NSW is the most important thing in the game.
Picking a player who has committed himself to play our rival code is disgraceful.
I hope the QRL board step in and block this, if not, the ARL board should.
