Titan Uranus and I were joking a while back that this award wouldn't go to the most outstanding player, but to the one who turned up on the pitch most often.

Even if I did only win this by constantly wearing footy boots, thanks.

A real honour to to win the BP race in a debut season, I shall treasure it.

To the F7s community: This is a bloody silly game, but staggering heaps of fun. Thanks for letting us play and thanks to the refs and mods who make it possible.

Oh, and thank the Academy, and my fans, and God, and my mum.....
