Any side with you as Captain is great Mick. And I'm stoked that you and Ozzie will meet up as Captains this year.

Don't underestimate yourself PP your doing a great job, its hard to fill Ozzie's shoes, but you've done it nicely.

Thanx Mick, the thing I'm proud of personally is having recruited most of the team. I always suspected I would enjoy being Captain of EASTS, but the fun I'm having is immoral. ;-) The effort, detail, research and heart that everyone puts into their articles is amazing.

O.T.

Well I headed off to Troy today, and I have decided to lay criminal charges against the writers of the script. I seriously doubt they took the time to read Homer, but anyway, it is hollywood. Apart from that, the acting is superb, but don't go if blood and gore upset you. Eric Banner and Brad Pitt will probably win awards and the film itself is brilliant. I'll get back to you all with my review on Harry Potter's 3rd movie in June... signing out John Micheal Howson aka H.o.T. :D

I'm going to see Troy tonight. Never really enjoyed the Illiad, so I'm glad to hear they butchered it a little. I preferred the Odyessy.

Saw Van Helsing last night. Has anyone else subjected themselves to it?

Movies to See
The Riddick Chronicles
Troy
Harry Potter 3 (Hate the books, like the movies)
Secret Window
Shrek 2

Thank God I bought a book of tickets before I ran out of spending cash again.

CWB - do yourself a favour and maybe save your cash and don't see Secret Window. I know it's all pretty subjective, but personally, thought it was pretty crappy - looking forward to seeing the others though.

Pen, you know Hollywood - personally I wouldn't be surprised if you see Brad planting an American flag into Troy soil!

or find WMD's :D

Ok, now possibly I'm the only one panicking here, but to let you know what is happening. Melon will be posting his article tomorrow and I haven't seen Coggie on line. Mojo, don't stress petal as I am doing one of my 11th hour articles so you look after your family and I'll be running off the bench if Coggie doesn't turn up.

Pen,

I only just saw this. I'm currently two thirds of my way through an Origin piece. Finally got some inspiration in the shower at 4:30 this morning! Anyway, I'll finish it off and let you have a look. If you'd rather save it for a later date, then that's cool and it'll give me time to fine tune it if necessary.
In other news, I still haven't put my questions together for the Hugh McGahan interview, so I'll have to get around to that very soon. I'm still hoping for some suggestions for questions so I don't look all high-school like and send him some very juvenile and idiotic questions.

If Coggie doesn't post by this arvo, Mojo is all fired up with a match winning article !!

I haven't seen the cogster around for AGES. And considering the Rooster bashing shit that is going on he is a shoe in to give 'em a serve if he's about.

Happy Birthday to Dan. Well, Roosterboy60 is 14 today and I just want to wish him a great day. Dan was 12 when he first joined the Forum 7's and he has gone on to be captain of a very competitive team. In addition to that he has set up his own internet radio station and calls games live. Rooster, we are all so proud of you. Have a great day Sunshine ... Love Deb !!
