Forum Upgrade

On my LU app on my phone, (Eels forum page) when I now tap on it, it asks me to log into (xenForo) "Upgrade system log in", with my email address and password aleady in place.
Takes me to a page that states my account does not have admin privileges.
Should I just delete the current app and re-load the Eels page and sign in?
Galaxy S21.

My desktop computer handled the changes fine.

Mine was doing that. I had to make a new bookmark on my phone. Now for some reason the new bookmark takes me to the list of forums page, not the parramatta one even though I bookmarked the Parra forum.

Check the URL you use to access the site. If its a bookmark of the older forum then it ends up with that weird login. It used to redirect to the new url but it doesnt anymore.

The url needs to be https://forums.leagueunlimited.com/forums/parramatta-eels.81/

But i assume you have a url with something with php towards the end of it

All I know is that the bookmark worked before and doesn't now.

Do you have it bookmarked as an icon on your phones Home Screen? I can’t get it to do it with the parramatta-eels.81 It just bookmarks up to the /forums even though I copy and paste the whole thing.. weird

You are rigjt. I get the same thing. If i make in icon on my home screen it goes to that forum list.

I never access it that way, i just always have a tab open in my browser

It won't be related to where the bookmark is saved. It will be related to where the bookmark points.

that’s with pasting the same url. It cuts off the parramatta bit for some reason. Was working fine on the old site

Yeah it was likely something i bookmarked a loooong time ago. It was on my laptop which i dont have at the moment. I replaced it so im not sure i will be able to find it again unless its in my history

I think it must be some quirk with how it is creating the home screen shortcut.
I dont know how to figure out what the url for the shortcut is, it doesnt allow u to edit it.
It also doesnt open it in a normal browser where you can see the url.

I think there are two different issues here.

1. People getting an Upgrade System Login because their bookmark points to an old URL. Nobody has been able to give me an example of a bookmark URL that is causing this yet, so I can't fix it yet.
2. Android not being able to handle the URL as a bookmark as strider said. This one sounds more like an issue that should be reported to Android, as I can't control how the device handles the bookmark, provided it's given the correct URL in the first place.
