I think there are two different issues here.
2. Android not being able to handle the URL as a bookmark as strider said. This one sounds more like an issue that should be reported to Android, as I can't control how the device handles the bookmark, provided it's given the correct URL in the first place. (https://forums.leagueunlimited.com/forums/parramatta-eels.81/)

My issue with the Home Screen bookmark is with an iPhone.

By the way, you also found the secret to me not doing anything to help with your complaints, so congratulations on that.

My five cents worth. I thought the previous version was more user friendly and easy to navigate. My "only issue" was how the forum couldn't cope with the heavy traffic during game day activity.

Yeah there were a tonne more issues that that. This one is objectively better in a lot of ways.

Am I missing something with the quote system?

before when I clicked quote it auto put it down in the comment box.

now I have to click quote on the post, go down to the new post box, click add quote, select the quote (even though there only is one to choose from) and then it appears

You can't please everybody, especially with the way tech is these days. However, I won't be using the anal probe update in 2032.

he +quote box is multi-quote, the reply box is a single quote reply.

The multi-quote ( +quote ) is best for if you want to keep reading the thread and quote once done, you can quote and reply to multiple posts at the time of your choosing.

Saves replying to a post and then having to navigate back to where you were to continue reading.

These upgrades always take a bit of time to get to know and get used to.

This is all that is getting shortcutted on the homepage for me. And it is the same no matter what forum page i try to add to the home screen.
Which is also odd cos the forums have a sub domain of forums.

Is there something in the page metadata that is making phones use this as the shortcut always? I dont have access to my laptop at the moment to check.t

After I select “add to Home Screen” it no longer takes me to the Parra forum, instead it takes me to the forum contents pageView attachment 49168
