What happens if I say YES to push notifications?

Well if a merkin knocks on my front door, I'm turning it off.

Sorry, I just realised it might not be clear what push notifications are. Basically, they're notifications that popup on your phone (like what a new text message or something would), and they alert you to new replies to threads, new reactions to your posts, new Visitor messages - things like that.

If you turn them on, I suggest turning off push notifications for reactions at least, otherwise your phone will burn a hole in your pocket buzzing every 2 minutes.

I activated them, thinking it was a thing, yet it has had no effect.

Anyway, my previously perfectly working desktop did the same thing as my phone today. Sent me to the moderator log in and then wouldn't connect me, saying I didnt have access to the privileges.
So, I deleted the link from my favourites list, reloaded LU from Google, went to the Parra page and saved it in my favourites again. It's been all good ever since on my computer.

Now, just need to sort the same thing out on my phone, and it will be all good again.

FYI ... I am seeing Latest Posts repeated at the bottom of the page on my android mobile

Im not much into latest posts. I need to scroll further to get to the link back to the forum page.
