I don't think he will get suspended, its post grand final... The judiciary will be lenient.

I think he'll be charged. Not sure of his record but he might be sidelined for the first couple of rounds next year.

Seems he's getting a 2 game ban, and depending on Manly's pre-season trials, he may still get to play in the World Club Challenge. So a lesson to all players in a grand final, do whatever the f*ck you want, it's not like you'll miss any of next season for it, you'll just miss out on some warmup games.

The sin bin has been pretty much done away with due to TV. That has been the way it is for years and won't be changing. 13 on 12 games are unappealing and have too much bearing on results according to fans. Fans have revolted against it with their remote controls.

This is another reason that trial games should not be included as part of a suspension. Suspensions should count for competition matches only. George Rose and the rest of the Manly thugs - apart from those with representative aspirations - knew that the worst that would happen would be missing a meaningless trial that they probably wouldn't have been required to play anyway.

I think any (every) act that is judged worthy of a report should be an auto sin bin. That would also stop the refs using a report when they dont have a clue whether it is a bad act or not. The video guys would pick those up anyway.
The 'professional foul' sinbins can go back to be the 5 minute sinbin, the 'report' sinbin can be the 10 minute sinbin.
