We are in trouble. I have not seen such an impotent attack this side of the 1999 Magpies, who were probably the worst team of the past 40 years.

The worst part is, our side just doesn't seem to give a f**k. No passion, no heart, no hope.

Haha, same here. Hence my blood boiling. Hope these pricks can turn it around.
Wonder what Mansour is thinking on the sidelines?

He is a positive dude. I sure he is biting at the bit to get back on the field and help the team.

From the outside looking in, it appears the attacking tactics are limited to;
1 - 3 yardage drives by the wingers then give it to Moylan and let him run sideways hoping for a gap to appear on tackle 4
2 - Get to tackle 5 and put up a Cleary Hail Mary and hope for the best

From the inside looking in, it looks pretty much the same.

  • Forwards aren't dominating = less space for halves to create.
  • Clearly bombs a lot because of the position he's in a lot of the time (40m-30m from their try line.) Forwards need to provide more go forward for Cleary, TMM, Peachey and co to dance.
  • Moylan ball playing way too much, needs to support hard running forwards more, look for the offload.
  • Bench has been average, zero impact.
  • Players out of position is not helping (mainly Hiku, Peachey and Blake.) I rate peachey highly however he's getting caught out in defense. He jams in hard and all they have to do this throw outside of his left shoulder and they score every time. Cronk exploited this, as did the Sharks. Good teams will.

Next game, this is a must.

1.Moylan
2.DWZ
3.Whare
4.Hiku
5.Blake (granted he's not a true winger however is a solid leaper and could be a threat for a cross field kick, and will return the ball strongly.)
6.TMM
7.Cleary
8.RCG
9.Wallace
10.Latu
11.Yeo
12.Cartright
13.Merrin

14.Peachey (would be devastating around tired forwards)
15.Tamou
16.Kikau (just resigned and is our future, needs more game time.)
17.CHN
18.Akauola
