Four from Eleven, Griffin is a dead man walking.

We literally can't score until we throw the game plan out the window and just start playing footy. The other side switching off helps also. 2 first half points in our last 3 games, says it all.

If there's anything to the Toovey rumour he'd certainly be shift in temperament from Griffin

Colour me sceptical about the Toovey rumour, especially if Griffin has the excuse of internal dramas between players blah blah blah.

IMO Griffin's appointment always smelled fishy in the due diligence that was done. Cleary was sacked and 5 minutes later Griffin was appointed the coach and look where we are now.

Ive said it before and i wil say it again moylan to 5/8 zelezniak to fullback what is griffin scared about if martin is being shopped around and not wanted why are we wasting time you saw tonight the more moylan got the ball the more dangerous we looked he just doesn't bring the ball back hard enough as a fullback
Why is it so hard?
Time after time DWZ has expressed his preference for fullback.
He runs back full of steam, he has no fear.
I recall a game v tigers last year when moyza was out (origin perhaps) and he fkn crushed it.

I think DWZ would be great at fullback. But hes our best and only proper winger available.

I think Edwards at fullback and DWZ on the wing is better than the reverse. Although no reason they cant swap through the game.

Anyone have Gus' email address. I am sure a few emails wouldn't hurt expressing our embarrassment. Now he is off Twitter.

I was hopeful of waking up to a statement from the board. "Anthony Griffin has our full support"
Maybe next week.

Griffin's role is surely untenable now, and really shouldn't survive after the end of this round. 2 from 9 and going backwards. We may have not yet hit rock bottom. We were quite bad 5 years ago, but at least the boys had a go - not sure I can say the same thing about them this year.

Thing is this morning was the best opportunity to fire him. It's 16 days until our next match, gives the interim coach a decent amount of time to work with the team.

Also our next two are still winnable. I can see Gus holding on for those matches and rolling out some rubbish if we win.

Gus has never been good at due diligence.

5 Years ago we had not invested $34m into football in the previous 2 years. $22m in new Panthers RL HQ, $5m in losses in 2015, $7m list in 2016. Looking like another loss of $7m or more in 2017. I don't know when it will be that people will begin to worry about the ongoing viability of the football team.

Getting a new coach will add even more costs.

The onfield performances are really troubling but the amount those performances are costing is staggering.

Picking a coach is opinion and preference. Due diligence isn't applicable, we didn't miss that he's an ex crim or something.
