Selfishly I'm happy with this, but alot of the guys must be disappointed.

How can you be happy. Players who play rep footy come back better players they get to mix with other senior players of a high standard like Lokyer etc...., learn more and gain more experience... aka the likes of Creagh and Hayne from origin this year.....


Weyman would have benefitted from being in a team with Petro, Soward with Lockyer, Creagh with Hindmarsh ... etc

Selfishly you are glad they dont improve or build confidence etc.... thats just plain dumb

Massively disappointed for Boyd - he was the incumbent winger - what happened to loyalty??? Creagh, Weyman, and Poore deserve to be very disappointed too.

B Morris and Soward are probably a year away from playing for Australia. Get in Origin next year, then play for Aus.

How did the following get picked (see highlighted). Petero been injured all year, Farah not as good as Ennis, Gallen been injured and his team sucked, Gidley is over rated and being a good bloke should not get you picked, Hodges is slow and lazy, Hoffman hasn’t been a standout or good even though his team won the comp, Jennings only performs against sub-standard teams, Lewis was good at start of year then got injured and his team was poor at end of year (same with Waterhouse), Shillington hasn’t been nearly as good as Weyman or Poore, Thaiday is overrated and a milker.

B Morris, the NRL's top try scorer. You have to wonder what else he needed to do.

Surprised that Creagh isn't in the squad either.

Soward was never going to get in ahead of Lockyer. Plus there's plenty of players in the squad that can shadow as five-eighth if needed.

Brett Morris, Ben Creagh and Justin Poore all had good enough season to warrant selection. They can feel a little disappointed and rightfully so.

Weyman exluded himself for selection due to injury repairs and rehab. I'm certain between now and kick off that some of the named squad will be unable to fulfill their spot so a 25th man and so on will be called in..... Possibly. I'm stunned that waterhouse got a start. Creagh carved him up all year. Jennings has a big future providing injury doesn't derail him again, though against a solid defense he is quite useless as was the case in the state of origin.
Perhaps none of our players were contactable to be told of selection as they're all still pissing the $100k up the wall in Cancun, Mexico?? Big Dell giving back rubs like he did with willy mason a few seasons back loving everyone long time...
