Fui Update?

Has anyone got an update on Fui's appeal. Will it go ahead?

Its funny - after the game on channel 9 they were talking to Hindy....Gould said he thought Peek was one of Parra's best and asked had Brian Smith rested Peek in reggies for a few weeks and Hindy said - yeah he rested him and always planned to bring him back.

So....maybe thats why they aren't overly worried about getting Fui's appeal done ASAP - cos they wanted Peek in there anyway.

yeah, we'll Fui was never going to be needed today and now Parra can concentrate on the Fui appeal next week before playing either the Storm or Cowboys in 2 weeks.

I would like to see what grading Ennis gets. That was a carbon copy of Fui's tackle. If its not a Reckless grade 2 then more ammo for the appeal IMO.

A distraction? I fail to see how Fitzy, Fui and his team of lawyers fighting a charge during a week off could distract anyone.

Even if he doesn't play first grade this year, he'll miss some of next year too unless they appeal, plus the PL boys could use him now aswell.

And yes, Peek played well but Fui is still a better option.

Peek was awesome.

But let's be fair dinkum - Manly are a joke. They've got nothing.

Against a bigger and better forward pack, Moi Moi would make great runs and tackles which could swing the momentum back in our favour.

Peek is a great prop, but is solid at best - not one to really make a massive, match-turning impact.

Oh for sure - Peeky would not disappoint.

But in some matches, it's probably better to opt for a physical and psycho prop like Fui than a hard-working brickwall like Peeky.

If we can't get Fui's sentence reduced, I for one won't be upset if Peek plays.

dunno.. peeks looks reliable and has less errors..look awesome today

against dragons.. fui was pretty ordinary.. few mistakes etc.. and prone to penalites..like against brisbane.. that may cost u a game...

True.

But against the Dragons, one error occurred when he was defending at fullback (WTF for lol) and the other resulted off a terrible dumy half pass.

Peek has made errors too - and close to the line as well.

I love Peeky - it's just that for different teams, we may need a different style of player.

If we can get fui off we might as well. Can't hurt to have more options. If nothing else he can help us win the Premier League final.

I mean, with Peek playing so well, it mightn't matter.

But sometimes it's great to have the choice:

Solid and dependable Peek, or Monster Moi Moi?

Both can win you a match - albeit in very different fashion.

Moimoi averages 0.6 errors per match and Peek 0.5

Look how many more metres fui makes, but peek does made alot more tackles. If Hindmarsh is back, use Fui, if not use Peek to cover for Hindmarsh.
