Not sure why they all can't commence pretty much all at the same time either , this one after the other notion is nonsense.

have them all commence in 2023 & be completed for the start of the 2026 season.

Maybe its a contract with only one stadium building company

just saw on Ch 7 , the NRL has got its way

the full 800 million to be allocated to 4 venues in Sydney , the NRL GF to stay in Sydney.
The NSW cabinet to approve the new deal.
Did it specify exactly which 4 venues? Like is homebush is getting that roof

He’s right. There’s houses in the south eastern corner
Yes there's houses over near the SE corner but have a look at the rest of the hill, there is plenty of room to build a stand that tapers down in that corner.

This is quite hilarious and childish from the Roosters.

It would be interesting to know how much of the $828m of construction costs the Roosters contributed to the development of the stadium? I'm pretty sure the number would be so small it would be a rounding error.

The club may have contributed their own funds to the adjacent centre of excellence, however, that has nothing to do the stadium contract. Further we have our own centre of excellence being built Heffron Park as part of a $58m development.

Blake Solly did respond and said it was quite ironic the Roosters are claiming the stadium is in their territory when at the same time the Roosters junior rep clubs train out of Matraville Sports High School.

I also think the Roosters forget to realise the Rabbitohs also have a reasonably high powered board as well.
Thought it was interesting on NRL360 last night that the two merkins on the panel who work for the rag thought it was a nothing story. They say Easts were pointing out Souths are playing both stadia of one another to get a better deal. Smart play by Souths, if true.

Trust the nrl360 nuffies to treat anything that looks unfavorable for easts as a nothing story... they must be getting some well earned coin to keep talking up the rorters whenever possible

That’s the power of an elite club like ours. They’d rather go against their own paper and Murdoch than piss off Saint Nick.

If it's the NRL 'getting its way' then it would suggest it's four suburban venues.

I know Penrith and Brookie were already teed up, what are the other two?

Vlandys has done it again

he’s got the nsw govt on.a string

imagine if Greenberg was still the boss all that money was going to fixing up Homebush.

vlandys solution is so much better for the Game

Apparently Shark Park and Leichhardt.
Lo is getting around 60 mill.

that still leaves 240 million. I can’t see shark park getting more than 50 m

I think the rest is going to Campbelltown. Especially after the tigers said they are moving 9 games there next year. They really shouldn’t spend any on lo and redo Campbelltown fully

bulldogs are the big losers in all of this

Gotta think the Bulldogs are in some strife here - if Souths go to the SFS, then the Bulldogs will be the only heavy-use tenant left at the club footy-unfriendly Olympic stadium.
