The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

A well performing raiders team would rarely get under 20K for big games in an indoor stadium & the weather would not affect it .
Yesterday was a perfect example of why it needs to happen
Although i would agree with you that canberra needs it for its fans/members and general attendance that the stadium gets for all codes, but the Raiders beat the roosters yesterday by the skin of their teeth... i think they had the home ground advantage of minus temp conditions and were smart enough to play along side it...
You roof that stadium, maybe they don't have that advantage

Yes but you haven't followed the raiders!
my club was in the third division, trust me nothing more soul destroying as watching your team get beat by barrow with 500 other fans in -10 degree wind chill off the north sea!

my real admiration is for fans in chicago and green bay who turn out in -20 in a stadium with no roof!

two seasons is probably wishful thinking. if they can get enough money maybe,
BUT
they do have a whole master plan you can suss, whoch IMo would be a great thing for Manly to have if this were achieved.

That would be a nice looking stadium and the perfect size for an NRL club. With a capacity of 20k there's no reason it cannot average around 15k to 17k. If it can get an average of 17k through the gates then that'll be a huge improvement on the current ground.

Interesting point of view but this is top tier professional sport where home advantages due to weather are disappearing world wide. They would still have a parochial crowd.
