Your idea of national growth is flick a Sydney team and its fan base ,stuff any tradition and history ,for the sole purpose (with no guarantees and your attendances BTW when NRL do play there nothing to write home about) of having a side you can form a circle jerk.

The reason the NRL hasn't expanded Einstein is due to incompetence from NRL management,incompetence from NRL club management,SL war which Perth had no trouble in sucking up to Rupert,dumb Tv deals ,bad scheduling.I could go on,however you'd still whine.That's what keeps your blood circulating.

Good ,hope it continued.It didn't ,and the crowds since have dropped substantially .That " sh*tty" Shark's stadium had 20,500 a few weeks ago, with a hill ,and an uncovered stand That also pleased ANY NRL fan, and happened a couple of weeks back, not years.It wasn't even a local derby against the Dragons and there were a handful of Doggy fans for obvious reasons.

NRL has been crystal clear, no expansion as the current clubs are such basket cases. Yours would be up among the top of that list with on and off field dramas and multi million $ annual losses since forever. Your development still hasn't got you break even yet and if it wasn't for a pizza guy, a director and the NRL giving out money like confetti you'd be back in hock to the banks big time. If your accounts this year don't show break even with the development cash, the NRL advance and a GF win then there is little hope for you.
