At this point in time the NRL has an agreement with the government that the stadiums will be torn down and be rebuilt in return for the GF remaining in Sydney. I they deal is broken by the government then the NRL should sell the GF to the highest bidder and not accept any bids from the NSW government.
and if the deal is broken & the 2 NRL GF sides run out onto the new stadium in Perth & the MCG , & Suncorp & the Adelaide oval in the years to come ... while ANZ sits unused & idle
Then Sydneysiders will have no one to blame but themselves for not standing up to the vocal minority moaning myrtles Helen Lovejoys
The Labor Govt needs to tred carefully too , if they continue to openly oppose the stadium rebuilds then the backlash from the above will sensure they're a one term Govt if they use this debate as an election issue & win
