Not as bad as the Pom living in Pommy land lecturing us about stadiums in Sydney. Must be a cultural thing. Whinging maybe?

Suncorp needs to be around 65k. Anything more and club games become as sht as Sydney ones at accor or allianz when they are less than half full. Broncos generally avg less than 40k and dolphins 25k ish. Neither club look like stretching the capacity anytime soon.

Dolphins averaged 32 at Lang Park in 2023.

Nah, one stand makes perfect sense. It’s an athletics venue, not a footy ground, meaning all the best seats will be one side, where the 100m track and finish lines are. Given the permanent capacity will only be around 14K it makes perfect sense to concentrate all the permanent seating on that side, better spectator experience AND lower maintenance overheads moving forward.

Why not just upgrade the existing stands to incorporate better amenities?
