The rake on that top tier is quite steep.

yeh not convinced it will look like that, for starters it doesn't show the 50 corporate boxes, lounges or BBQ terrace that will be in the stand and that would be a hell of a climb with just one stair opening at the bottom. Cheapo artist me thinks!

Haven't sat in the top deck of ANZ Stadium before?? I'm already dreading the 42 rows I have to climb up to get to my seats!! And there is 3 steps per row!! :crazy:

TBH, I recon they should level the whole block and start over in Perth - its a nice big patch of land, yet the stadium is squished over on one side, parts of the ground truncated because of a road.

And the heritage listed grandstand is a hovel. Bulldoze it and build something good.

Don't like that Stadium plan much at all. Again looks cheap and nasty and reeks of a second class sport once again building in dribs and drabs. While AFL get all the real cash and build Roman style Colosseum's everywhere.


We really are paying big time for not having the right administration in place for such a long time. Hopefully this will be addressed real soon now. Sadly will be too late for Perth though. :-(

Watching the Euro, it annoys me that other countries like Poland have stadiums like this and we don't. By the way, that roof closes. Damn I wish we got the World Cup.

Imagine if we had that stadium at Moore Park, with a rail line that ran to the door (all undercover), and proper parking stations that exit quickly onto Anzac Parade.

No argument from me! They could have built a new 30k stadium at burswood cheaper than the total rebuild of nib is going to cost.

That is just phase one. Phase two involves another $150mill spend to put roof on sth stand, new west and north roofed stands and the corners filling in giving a 25.5k all seater. If they ever spend on phase two is the question!
