Frank Ponissi said on the Storm hour on SEN last night that we signed Tim Glasby a young forward from CQ Capras. The article below says he played 3 years in the Panthers under 20's so they should know a bit about him.

Losing Manu isn't a bad thing at all. He is simply too injury prone and even when he isn't he really hasn't been well utilised. Proctor basically does the same job except better.

I think Manu could be great but that isn't happening for us and it was a smart move to let him go (whether or not he ends up playing a starring role at the panthers).

What's Luke Kelly like as a player ? What are the best parts of his game ? We are strongly linked to him.

Great kicking game, organiser with a chance to be a real general on the field with more game time, alot quicker then he will appear to be, good passing game, can miss a tackle but defence isnt too bad.

If he can adapt to NRL level consistently will be a good player.

7 really, but in split halves its not really too important. Did well at 6 at the end of 2010

Kelly is a gun who has just had many opportunities...will become a strong first grade player with Parra IMO.

Not bad...quite strong defensively and has pace but not great under the high ball.

Just found some interesting news in an article. This would upset me a lot of this is true.

Melbourne utility Ryan Hinchcliffe, who is expected to be the next signing the Eels announce, is another client. Asked when Hinchcliffe would decide, Beavis said: ''That's up to him. He's got plenty of time, so I'm not going to rush him.''

Just found some interesting news in an article. This would upset me a lot of this is true.

Hinchy is still signed for next year so the only way he'll be leaving is if he asked for a release and we gave it which you'd think are both highly doubtful. If/when he does move on in won't be until 2014.

We surely can't be over the salary cap now... We have lost Manu, Nielsen, Kelly and possibly Waqa. Resigning Hinchcliffe, Ryles and Vave is good as we have depth on the bench.
