The situation with Sharp isn’t ideal but how does he expect his comments will help the situation?

So Gal is saying NO ONE at the club gives a sh... I feel sorry for the members and supporters who love their club and have to put up with this kind of attitude. Do the players & coach feel bad when they hold their hand out for their pay. Gal should have called a meeting with the players and coach behind closed doors not slam the guy in the media. He has bought more pain on the club, can`t imagine how tense it will be at the next training session.

Exactly right, Peter Sharp's a bad coach, but it's not like they couldn't at least try, the Storm would have made the finals in 2010 if they'd been awarded points. Cronulla have withdrawn into their shells and decided to sook instead of playing hard and being professional about it. And that's without even knowing what their punishment will be, the Storm knew theirs and it was for their year to be worth nothing, yet they still turned up to play. Completely different cultures.

Storm played in 2010 as a "Points for Purpose" to keep them motivated and a purpose .Every try,conversion and field goal earnt money for their weekly nominated charity. They raised $150,000 for charity in that season.

That would of been fine if they got Tedisco, Brooks, Cartwright etc but they got the one's that were pushing 30 and decent team players but not the plodders they got.

It isn't just that. Look the ones that escaped. Peachey, Townsend, Bukuya & now Lichaa. They are the sort of players you build around.

A coach who gives a shit, and will actually get rid of underperforming players rather than continually gifting them starts, and change the entire systems within the team.

Perhaps he has raised this in-house but his concerns have been blown off like Noyce has done to supporters. Noyce's comments have been more concerning for me than anything Gal has said.

Why would he though? Flanagan comes back next year and will change everything back as it is now

I'm sorry but this shit is just ridiculous. You hear comments like this thrown around all the time when a side is going poorly. You hear things like the coach has lost the dressing room and he can't get the players motivated, etc...I'm sorry but what a f**king cop out.

These are professional athletes. If they're playing FG they should have enough drive and desire to know they need to put in and do it for themselves and their fans...they shouldn't need a coach to tell them that. If Gallen thinks he and his teammates aren't putting in 100% each game then they aren't professional footballers and they need to be asking themselves why and not taking a shot at the coach as an excuse.

This says way more about them than it does about Sharp.

These are the players they need to get rid off. They go awol in time of need.

If Gallen was really focused on Sharks , he would do a Jamie Lyon and refuse to play Origin and focus on club football. Same with Lewis. Both appear to prefer to break their bones for the NSW Origin pay check then focus on being completely right for Shark games.

Sharp didn't want the job at the start of the year, he took it on to help the club out & because the likes of Steve Noyce wanted him to & Noyce assured him things would be ok.

I'm damn sure he doesn't want it now & perhaps he's had enough but Noyce won't listen (isn't he quoted as saying the coaching situation is fine?).

Anyone stop & think that Sharp actually asked Gal to speak out to force the club's hand?

People bag Gal out all the time but he's a shark through & through & just about the only 1 left in the organisation it would seem.
