How typical, despite the Aussies always whingeing about unfair the ICC is, yet again the Aussie ends up with the minimum possible punishment and their opponent the most severe

Wonder when the ICC will stop kissing Pontings arse and suspend him for his continous slow over rates?

Piss off you Pom:lol:

....and again the BCCI step in to lodge an appeal meaning that due to the outdated and lengthy process, he will be able to play in the fourth test.

The BCCI, as they did in Australia last season, once again exploiting the impotent ICC judicial process to get one of their players off a suspension.

they same way Lehmann was suspended for 5 ODI for a racist remark and your mate harbie was let off after india threatening to cancel a tour?

who is bending over the ICC again?
Oh you mean when Lehmann made a racist remark everyone heard and the Aussies made some crap up because they couldnt understand Singh?

The Aussies were full of sh*t, just trying to get a player their precious captain couldnt play suspended

my money is on Gambir playing in the 4th test
And rightly so.

Ive lost count of how many times ive seen similar incidents in the past, all without reprisal.

Did Gambhir do it on purpose? Yes. But i can't possibly see how you can prove it beyond all doubt as it wasn't totally blatant.

And even if he did his elbow wouldn't have hurt a fly. To give him a one-test ban for this is a joke. Even more of a joke is Watson's 10% match fee fine in comparison.

Chris Broad is a dodgy bastard.

If he does get his suspension lifted then he should be at least fined like Watson was
By all means fine him 80% of his match fee like Zaheer was. But don't ruin the test series by banning India's best performed batsman for the final test.

Talk about a major asterix should Australia win the last test.

everyone heard? where is your proof?

the opposition heard it, just like australia heard serial offender harbie

so if Lehmann came out and said he didnt say it, that would be all well and fine with you??
