That’s our problem. Our roster is too top heavy and the plodders in the side are putting too much pressure on the main men. If we had some decent juniors/role players we’d be killing it.

I hope you still have the ticket stubbs from the Grand Final. Sniff them in, because once a couple of key players are here for lifetime contracts the tears will be as close to a GF as the Eels will ever come. Think 2012, etc. At least Arthur scored a try in the GF, he would be a lot cheaper and they can rebuild again? ? Do GF teams leak 30??? Just wondering. Moses’ contract isn’t the problem. It’s the Blake’s and Nrown’s that are costing us. Moses has been our best tonight by a f**king mile. His halves partner or probably close to a Mil is a massive problem as well.

I'd say Hoppo has been our best.

Agreed that we weren't tough enough.
We are so soft in the ruck. We also don't dominate the ruck with aggression, like teams such as Melbourne, Penrith and the Roosters do.
It's no surprise that those three teams are the most successful.

Penrith attack is off. It's woefull at the moment. But gee they make sides fight for every yard.
People seem to want to blame Wawa or Simmonson. But Gutherson threw an intercept when wasn't needed. He also lacks any sort of speed to exploit attacking raids. Its a huge issue.
But with 7 mins to go they kicked off. We only needed a good set amd to pick up good field position and grind them. Instead we force the ball amd cough it up amd the next 3 chances we have to go 90mtrs rather then 50-60mtrs. For me this is on the halves.
