Its why i challenge tct, when he's creaming about our attack in pre-season.

There's nothing I've seen so far from our attack that was better than last year besides from scrums we do the panfers thing and play nfl but we haven't scored from here.

For the past three years we completed at 79% or better. So far this year we are at 74%. I expect with a larger sample of more games it will revert to around the 79% mark. It'll be exciting if it doesn't.

The fact is we are missing two representative-quality forwards in Lane, and Matterson.

Those two, alone, should add some serious fire-power to our squad.

We need to find some decent tight forwards, though - I'm not a big fan of Makatoa, but he's a toiler, and shouldn't be on the bench; Greig can't defend; Moimoseah is dumb as dogshit; and Murchie is an edge.

Yeah i know .... i think its better to have a decent 14 .... but maybe if matto is back then they can work the interchanges to rest hopgood but still have him do a short stint to cover dummy half ..... i dunno. Its certainly not ideal .... i hope they tried to sign a decent utility and couldnt manage to get it done, rather than just expect hodgson is gonna be an 80 minute prospect or some other shitty alternative.

At least he won't be expected to carry the ball and run decoys. Just follow the play and pass the ball. Hodgson even stays in centrefield when the ball goes to the edges. Remember when he set up Paulo's try he was at second receiver.

He's in the team for his talk and his leadership, like Cronk when he won a grand final with one arm.

I suspect $1000 is more to Sivo and his family than $4000 is to Matterson.
