really ordinary effort this one.
puts us in the awkward position of playing the raiders twice.
thought we were building in the last few weeks but can see us losing our last 2 games for an end to a what has been a disappointing season.
Are you serious? Man it had to be one of the tougher assignments to go up there to get a win v home town hero’s v the ref v nil Nico.
Their lack of urgency or commitment for mind was one of just going through the motions. Not good enough? 100% But riding them off for the rest of the season it harsh.
I’d be more concerned for Newcastle - crap the bed in the semis is likely, you can’t stay up forever.
A loss now ain’t anything to be ashamed of.

Meh. I was confident we’d win. Did well 6-6 at half time. I thought Nikora got it down. Of course the bunker disagreed. We had ZERO ball and no opportunity to get back into the game. Of course the NRL want a home final in Newcastle. Half the f**ken media either played for them or support them. Some of their last tries were awful and on us, but far out we got absolutely screwed over on a few crucial calls which got them on the front foot. Our defence actually held up for long periods, so it was disappointing it blew out in the end. It is what it is, I wouldn’t be worried if we had to play them again with Hynes and not Ashley Klein or that f**kwit in the bunker.

Probably didn't deserve to win but anyone on here who thinks that Klein doesn't deliberate screw us over is either delusional or a liar

yep it was way off the last few weeks.
Nicho, ref, newwie old boys day or not.
We are, or were 4th.
Conceeded 26 2nd half points.
Energy wasn't there from the get go and failed to control the game to any large extent.
Kicking was shit, defence was shit. Line speed was shit.
Key players in our team right off. Injuries? Maybe.
The summary fits, 2 games out. It was garbage.

I’m delusional but definitely not a liar. I’ll split the difference - he is a terrible ref, the penalty’s overall were odd at time to be called or not. Connor hit high in the first half was ridiculous and I think he was scared of the Newcastle crowd to be honest.
But, we were below par

Oh and I’ll add the game changed big time when JC decided to try and tackle Ponga on his own on the kick chase.. and missed. Rookie error, and not the only one

I don't think I've ever read a post I disagree with more.

2 games out. I tell you what, we lose to Canberra at home next weekend and I’m board with giving them a Razz: The following first semi final, probally against Canberra again, toss a coin.

Let's hope they turn it back on but the energy and urgency I've seen the last few weeks was well absent.

We ran titans off the park, they are a quick side.

Would have been flat out running the local nursing home side off the park today.

It was odd performance - I wasn’t overly surprised, but this season has been like that.
Was Nico really injured? Talk he wasn’t? I guess don’t risk him but who knows.
What am I saying? Not sure but I’m almost wondering if what ever penny bad or good turned up, they appeared to be accepting of it?
Again move on

Yeah he was. I asked the same question of a guy who never tells lies and is part of nicos inner circle.

The games Moylan didn't start, I thought let's see what he will do today, he actually looked slower in attack, his defence has got worse.
He causes those around him to be unsure.
Ronaldo has been off all year and again today, I don't know what it is.
Trindall saved us a few tries today.
Brailey every timed he ran from sunny half for penalty or 6 more Klein just ignored him

Well I’m not physically injured, maybe mentally, but cheers and thanks for confirming that Nico was injured. Ducks and drakes going on in my opinion, but it’s just that a pop opinion I guess
