Iv been one of his biggest fans but the negatives now out way the positives that Fifita brings.
Our interchange rotation is dictated by his low minuets forcing others to play longer than they should, his hit up only work if we are already on a role, defensively he is to slow.

He stopped a near certain try by Cleary. He was onto loos balls. He stopped a Cleary kick and I think got the ball back. 17 tackles in 23 minutes. 2.61 PTB speed.

He did his job

I know only losing by 10 to the clear favourites of the comp isn’t too bad, but I’m still disappointed. That game was there for the taking. Hopefully that loss shows us what we need to do to beat them if we happen to meet them again in the finals

Yeah but better to lose that game now and learn from it. That was semi final intensity. They held their own on the scoreboard despite crueling themselves in the areas of handling, option taking and taking opportunities.

Will get better. That's the hardest part of the draw done now. Penrith's draw is harder. They be well bashed up by September. EVERYONE here would have been happy if they knew we;d get 2/3 vs Storm, Cows and Panthers a month ago :)

Could see when nicho wanted to get it out the back for ramien they were up and ready for it and shut it down before it got 2 passes wide. They are well coached but at least we'll have a plan b if we play them again as Fitz and the other staff will learn from that.

Basically take this as a learning curve for the finals and next season as Penrith are the absolute benchmark. Losing Api next season will be massive for them, he is unbelievably good.

I reckon the backs played too shallow on the shift plays and created pressure on themselves on top of the fast defence.
