Game Day versus Cowboys

So many really positive performances - a genuine all round great effort, made the most of awful opposition, reminded me of the 2016 game against the Knights. Really impressed with our conditioning, we seem to have a whole team who look comfortable playing the full game - that’s a fantastic trait in the modern game.

If I’m gonna be really picky and find some areas for improvement, Chads long kicking game was poor again - hitting wingers and fullback on the full almost every time will really sting us against a team like the Roosters. Thankfully Val seems to have lost all desire to return the ball at speed.
And then Billy M doesn’t really add anything - swap him out for Talaki and we look the business.

Outstanding performance. The Cows are terrible but you can only beat what's in front of you. Winning the second half is really positive. Could have put the cue in the rack but stuck at it.

Great result for points differential and overall confidence.

When SJ comes back, the unfortunate thing is that Kennedy probably loses his spot. Unless you put Moylan at 14, he’s the unlucky bloke.

I think Tracey become the unlucky guy.

I think moylan might become utility and Kennedy keeps his spot.

Which would suck as his energy is dynamite

I don’t know what to take out of this game as the Cowboys are very shit. Old Toddy boy Payton will be wishing he could have his time over again.

Agree Kennedy can’t be dropped....looks likely every time he touches the ball. Took a couple of wrong options tonight but still scored 2 and had 2 try assists. One thing you can say about all these injuries is plenty of guys are learning to play out of position which can only help as the season goes on. Looking forward to playing the Rorters next week.

NOW LOOK HERE..... I've just come back from Old Mates and I have not read a page of the game thread. But gee I am so looking forward to going back to the start of the match and reading all about The Chadleys first try assist of the game. It should be a pearler to read about it here. Putting the Hammer into wide open spaces... just like that.

I shall return.

Just parked up to visit this shit hole for the first ever time.

Bring on the polished attack & gutsy defence we’ve seen so far I say.

Better kicking game though please, a bit more thought into our kicks instead of hoisting it high all the bloody time!

Sharks by 32.

Wrong!! By 38 but you were close!

Someone else in here said it a while ago, He’ll kick 6/6 when we’re winning somewhat comfortably but then when it’s a close game and kicks are super important he’ll have a shocker
So true. Does you head in.
Is it the pressure of not having to kick it compared to this one must go over?
