Game Day vs. Dogs

What is the true definition of the Declared Idiot?
Someone who waited two full days until they watched this game, knowing the result and not watching one highlight beforehand.
#86 in full flight.
It did take all the emotion out of it.
Our negative 1%ers were the killer, 3 x wingers tries, 1 x silly obstruction, and 1 x forward pass, add them on to the 2 x legal tries, BUT
the real 1% effort killers were the three soft tries that were let in, Dugans x 2 mistakes were pathetic, and the Nikora/Johnson mess up wasn't much better.
In games gone by those 1%ers would have been in the positive and it would have been a 7 x try to 0 x try easy win.
It all points to their heads not being in the game, which was the basic consensus of the thread.
Well done to you all.

If a side does 110 1%ers in a game do they get credit the next week?

Maybe they just get a patch

I take a different view in that motivation is on the individual. Half this squad is playing for their career. Any player who wants to stay needs to be impressing the new coach who is no doubt looking closely. Feeling sad because the coach got the arse is soft. This shit happens in business all the time and professionals get on with the job.

As a fan it sux to be losing but reality is we were going precisely nowhere. This season is about figuring our who is ready to be part of the revolution.

The lack of killer instinct in this group is palpable. Every tight game this season has been lost. 2 wins have been against poor opposition. Very sick of the 'brave loss' mentality.

The pain for this season is the price we pay for cutting out the mediocrity. Personally, I would rather pay it now and build a squad capable of doing something.

Its a team sport in the hardest football code there is. Every winning side the players always say how much they want to play for their fellow team members . Sure Self pride and Family are motivating but to think half the side being told they are unwanted and the last few weeks of dramas would not have any effect on performance ? Ludicrous . Maybe one who already has history of spitting the dummy did so AGAIN. The rest took to the field against a first grade NRL team they were expected to beat and were flat. They stiffened up in 2nd half. But anyone taking that as a guague of how professional they are I think is unlikely to get players who play with the passion and commitment to rest of team needed to win .They will just get mercenaries only interested in Dollars and their own individual performance . Luke Lewises views on the 2016 year are pretty special about commitment and professionalism.
