To be fair though, BB is a shit load better then Hodgson. There’s a bloke who can tackle and offers exactly zero in attack

Geez our defense has sucked of late hey. 2 games this year and 2 games last year at the end the lowest we have conceded is 26. Just as well we can score points

Shit..this is a morning after view after watching w the old boy at Currumbin RSL. I thought Brailey was Ok in the second half. I’m pretty sure I saw him run from dummy half and createspace.

maybe it was the beers tho?

McInnes…cuz…hold the ball
Jesse…cuz…..hold the ball
Kennedy…..good..very good
Dale……not sold..I think the game has passed him by ….
Ronnie…….Izzy
Moses….merkin

I just got to watch the game properly.
One thing is for certain, Moses is still the number one player that needs a punch to the head.
There should be a gofundme page set up for the first player to knock him out.
How to ruin a club? Pay that little shyte $1.4m.

It's posts like this which make me wish I had full access to this site's functionality.
But a simple 'like' would still be woefully inadequate.

Honestly, in which universe does anyone believe he is he worth upwards of $1m?
At best, he was the 3rd most effective half on the field last night.

Couldn't agree more, he's not a terrible player but absolutely nowhere near top end salary status. And he's a little bitch

Putting the whiny bitch bit aside, I thought the 4 best players last night were Kennedy, Moses, Hopgood and Briton.

Moses is close to a mill, but I’d rather Hynes, Reyno, Hughes, Hunt, Cleary, DCE. Before long I imagine Ilias and Walker overtake him too….just dont think he is quite top tier elite.

Better than The Chad tho

9. McInnes
14. Brailey

may as well try it. Neither of them are exactly killing it at what they are currently doing.
Not a fan of McInnes at the moment. He might be a better hooker but he seems to be a bit of a clutz.

He certainly hasn't played himself in to a better role.

And BB's shortcomings are greatly exaggerated here.

I don’t hate Brailey.. I just feel he is too comfortable.. maybe a few games from the bench is what he needs to really assert himself. McInnes hasn’t been great in his role from the bench, so give him the first 20-25 at hooker to do all the tough stuff.

What I feel with Brails is that he has stagnated.
He is approaching 100 games of first grade and, at his age, should really be starting to hit is straps.

I hope I'm wrong, and it's just a case of expecting too much from a promising local junior, but I fear we may have seen him reach his ceiling.

Seems to me the past couple of seasons we've all been waiting for him to make his mark, but it's just not coming.
For me, it's time to start realising his potential.

Scholars of the sharks, when was the last local Junior that was elite, not just serviceable

What the parameters of "local" junior and elite?

I don't think I know what they are anymore.

Answer by my parameters is probably ET

BB was ok, better than last week. He’s punching out 7/10 games. I want 9/10 games and we’ll need them if we are to win a comp

Braily is overworked and has been ever since he debuted. Starting off the bench would mentally energise him imo.
Cam can start at 9 for 20 then go to the bench and come back on as lock in the final 15 to add energy around the ruck.

Round 2 2022 vs Cronulla he was having tantrums like a primary schooler and they got beat.
Round 2 2023 vs Cronulla he moaned and groaned like a sully teenager and they still got beat.
What’s next year - non binary Gen Z flog routine.
He does nothing for himself in terms of longevity or a history in the game. Will always be remember as a whining little bitch.

He’s got really big biceps and can get a steal or 2. Struggling to see what else he does
He's got the best long, flat dummy half pass in the game which gets his teams on the outside of defenders from the ruck. He's deceptive and crafty and not unlike Api inside the attacking 10. He makes his tackles generally (not last night) but still got 44 against us. He's 2 games back from his 2nd or 3rd ACL fix. Can you imagine Nicho with advantage of hooker getting to the outside straight away.

He's a goodun. I'd have him over Brailey any day.
