Having Parra as the most western Sydney team is leaving over half of Sydney with no team except AFL and soccer...

So how many Western Sydney teams should there be?

If you bring up AFL and soccer for everything why not have 5 teams in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwn?

It's just stupid. There is no need to more than 1 Western Sydney team playing in the top level competition.

:lol:You stupid f**k. Western Sydney is a rugby league stronghold and we want to keep it this way to avoid AFL taking over.

These other regions are AFL strongholds and have been for 100 years.

Oh my god some people have no clue.

So, to sum up.

In 100 years, North Sydney had so little impact on the rugby league landscape that they were able to be given the arse from the competition despite it's heritage and no one really gave a f*ck.

Natural selection in action.

I just wish Souths would follow, they were wrong in letting them back in.
No one gives a f**k no,
thats why we have an ever increasing membership base, are getting larger crowds and even had a 2000 strong crowd to a NSW cup match vs Newtown. Its why we had a concerted effort to get a team a couple of years ago back on the central coast which was quite easily the stronger bid in 04 before the nrl decided to give the gold coast time to catch up.

There should be teams in

- North QLD (Cowboys)
- Brisbane Nth Side (Broncos)
- Brisbane Sth Side (New or relocated team to ANZ Stadium land - build a new stadium though - location is fine, but stadium is sh*t)
- Ipswich (new or relocated team)
- Gold Coast
- Newcastle
- Manly
- Souths
- Parramatta
- St George or Sharks
- Canberra
- Melbourne
- Adelaide
- Perth
- Auckland
- Wellington

Maybe Penrith can relocate to Ipswich, Roosters to Sth Brisbane, Wests to Perth, Bulldogs to Wellington, and Sharks/Dragons to Adelaide.

No Illawarra / South Coast representation... but a team for Ipswich?

Here's an idea, let's merge clubs, it will make them super clubs.

How about we start with Illawarra and St.George?

What? It's been done! What? 7,802 watched them play on Monday and 6500 against Melbourne? Can't be? The News Ltd accountant told me it would be a winner for sure, it looked good on paper.

So Rastus where are the 15,000 that use to watch the Bears now?

Look at the way we squabble with each other, kick them out, no move them etc. Has no one ever heard of "united west, divided we fall"?

Lets see:
Perth -> No interest in rugby league. Good bye Souths fans.
Adelaide -> No interest in rugby league. Good bye Cronulla fans.
Melbourne -> No interest in rugby league.
Wests-Canterbury -> Good bye Balmain fans + Wests fans.
Gold Coast Titans -> Rehash of team that failed time and again.
Paramatta-Penrith Panthers -> Goodbye to significant parra base.
New Zealand -> Major competition with Union: fraught with danger.
Brisbane Broncos -> business as usual.
Canberra Raiders -> A place no player wants to go.

Excellent plan of rugby league. Our future is safe.

Perth = Large interest in league you tool. Look at the success of the Jim Beam Cup side and the corporate sponsorship they are getting for a competition that is only based in NSW and WA.

BUt overall you are an idiot... Lol at your comment about the Titans. Just do us all a favour and neck yourself.

Yes. It would be great if you could have Illawarra, Central Coast, Darwin, etc. but there's only so many spots.

Darwin an AFL stronghold? A city that when Nine had the rights to AFL and NRL showed the NRL live and the AFL delayed?

How can you justify having 3 sides in Greater Brisbane (pop 1.8m) and only 1 side in Sydney's greater west (pop 2m)?

Silly me. WA is the future of rugby league.
