He got me - I had very real anxiety when Jon was pinned down by Viserion about how he was going to get there.
I think it has to be because the Night King is less a scheming villain and more a machine. He's basically programmed by the Children of the Forest to kill all humans and see the Three-Eyed Raven as a threat due to their ability to retain all knowledge of the history of men.
I know it's not satisfying for a lot of people, but to me it seems the best explanation.
You should all write your own shows.
Your better aren't you.
Ffs just enjoy it mofos.

You could but won't, keep whining. Hound to Gentry, whiner.Or I could just read/watch other things where plot resolutions actually make sense.
or write your own and see how you go.just shut your brain off and enjoy it

I await your novel.
There have been some pretty decent twists in the GOT journey
Ned gone, Rob gone at the red wedding along with his mum, Little finger gone, Ygrette gone, Jon dead then alive, The red woman getting stannis to burn his daughter alive, Stannis in general, the Knights of the Vale saving Jon at the last minute, Theon getting his dick cut off, Sansa raped, The dragons, the Khalisi raped on her wedding night etc etc
This. The set up of the scenes were great at the end
I have no problem with the director there, just that it was too dark at the beginning
Merkins like you should be banned from watching. This isn't a novel, it's a TV show. The writer of the novels actually knows how to construct coherent twists and turns, pity he might never actually finish it, especially after this dogshit trainwreck.
And after 8 years I'm obviously gonna finish it, there's only about 3.5 hrs hours left.
But instead of excitement I now have morbid curiosity to see what else they can c**k up.
Meanwhile, back to waiting for book 6.

For sure. I think each of those made a lot more sense thematically to me though. All some sort of irony, justice or character-making events that fit the story.
I dunno man I'm just still sitting here wondering what the significance of Jaime riding north was. I hope his story isn't f**ked.
