2 ways to look at that end scene

1 melissandre has been an old women the wholesale time and has used magic to keep herself young the whole time

2. Melissandre has given her life power up (for jon) and has aged rapidly in the scene and is now lying down to die.

If 1 is true, it's possible that she is giving up the power that has kept her young (given her life) to jon

Boring? No way
It felt like I blinked and it was over!

Maybe its because I missed having new Thrones material out there, but it seemed to be a very quick 50 mins or so.

Bring on next week! Can't wait!

I don't think the necklace is some sort of One Ring, like Diego said she's had it off numerous times. I think they just used that episode to re-establish where we are at

imo, it was just so symbolize her giving up.
I don't think it will be anything to do with bringing back Jon at all really.
I'd guess its her doubting her very being, everything saw in the flames never happened.
What's there for her to carry on with? and why? Everything she believed in was false.

Think it may have more to do with the liquid in the jar next to the mirror that they showed.

Didnt she also poor something into the water in the bath scene a few seasons back?

Potion perhaps.

Enjoyed it, but hopefully by the end of the season they've chopped down the number of plot lines.

Abused Natalie Dormer is still hawt.

Still think Jon is coming back but in a more Lady Stoneheart than human kind of way.

Yeah the potion thing hit me just not long ago.

Anyway, she's several centuries old, and I think goes to bed like that all the time

The scene with the new Khal talking about seeing a beautiful naked woman is the best thing in the world, and the other dudes correcting him and then he says ok it's among the top 5 things in the world. That pretty much sums up any internet forum

I think what that last scene illustrates is the effect religion has on you long term.

Show wise I think she's lost faith and the removal of the necklace is her saying to her red god, eat me (pun intended).

Chook.

Looks like that necklace she wears is what keeps her looking young

nah i think it was the potion. the necklace was a symbol of her giving up.

she looked like a fair dinkum witch.

boring episode.

tend to agree.

not sure why we needed the arya scene. her storyline is already so f**king boring. for some reason this episode didn't feel like a traditional game of thrones episode.

Most humorous scene in the series so far. Beats the every chicken in the room scene for humour.
