So been reading up on the identity of that wright and have a theory thou it's a bit of a crack pot theory. May contain potential spoilers for non book readers.

So the Nights King is well known to be the 13th commander of the Nights watch Bran Stark brother of Jorumun Stark King in the North. Bran stark married a women with skin as white as milk and bright blue eyes, he married her and announced himself as nights king and ruled from the night fort, he was known to sacrifice children. The king in the north and king beyond the wall united to overthrow him. So here is my weird theory, the others serve the starks and refer to the deeper meaning of winter is coming.So my theory is that the Nights King intends to unite with the Starks. It's out there but it's always fun to speculate and we have been teased the whole series with the line there must always be a stark in winterfell.

I haven't read the books but I don't really care about spoilers; I don't feel they ruin the show at all for me and I'm impatient as f**k. So I don't visit there much as I'd generally have NFI what they're talking about, but I do go to see the meltdown after the ending of the last episode. Enjoying some of the crackpot (or perhaps not so crackpot?) theories it set off :lol:

I understand when rape is part of the plot., but when it's used for what is essentially gratuitous nudity (since the shots focused on boobs) I find that disgusting.

I wonder if Jon will see Bran or if they escape before he gets there. I can't imagine Jon saying 'sure, go off into the wild where awaits 100,000 wildlings and white walkers.'

Exactly, I didn't think the casual rape in the background during the previous episode was in good taste at all. Actually, I think it was pretty offensive to rape victims.

They made the Jamie/Cersei scene more rapey in the show than it was in the book apparently, too.

Well that is pointless but I find the rapes at Craster's to be more insulting as they seem to expect their viewers to be turned on by the naked body of a woman being raped.
