Injury rundown:

Champion injured, played on but the injured again with 10 to go
Brad t injured stayed on but played wing
Semi injured and didn't return
Sandow injured ankle ( same as nines injury) went of for 25-30 mins, returned but was clearly not at his best
Watmough - injured knee, left at crucial time, returned but wasn't at his best.
Moeroa - re-injured shoulder, struggle for most of game, left with 10 to go

Biggest injury toll I have see in a while, we had paulo in halves, brad T playing wing and manu playing centre.

Dogs scored two direct tries from injures, last with champion down and first in second half on Brad T side due to his inexperience playing wing

Well....I'm going to call it now, I think the Dogs will miss the 8.

 There a top 4 team. Sure they play simple but they grind.Thats there style.Nothing flash but make you work for it. If you click you will beat them but they will win more games than not thru other teams imploding.

Robinson is a cat. Let's in soft tries, doesn't contest bombs, gets carried back by defenders at will. Could kick a goal, until tonight.

Not sure which game you were watching. We were still in the game with 15 to go. We had no right to be so close.

Just ball control and set competiton is what I think could have been better - which I reckon Arthur will mention at press conference. But definitely very brave effort and Des's focus on the ref's this week definitely helped them.

Lol. The team was fatigued, battered and broken. Were we expecting 90% completions?

Players had no right to be on the field.

OK, I'm going to change my assessment, I don't think they will make the Top 4...should make the Top 8 though.

Semi's injury may not be as bad as we think.
Champion is an injury prone player so I guess it was just a matter of time.We wont lose heaps by bringing in morgan or Toutai IMO.
Robinson worried me.Once the game got physical he just got hammered all over the park. His goal kicking also let us down.

Robinson was terrible. he was terrible running out of dummy half and every time he got the ball he looked scared.

Give Crooks a crack.

Some observations:

* I'm sorry I know we have been spoilt by having Hayne at fullback but I don't get the love for Hopoate at fullback. If he stays he plays centre.

* Robinson had the most inept piss poor performance I have seen from a winger in many a year. I'd hook him on that one game. What a pea heart.

* I'm liking what I see in Takairangi, he is alot stronger than he looks.

* Norman is playing out of his skin. Made one crucial mistake but despite that had the ball on a string.

* According to NRL stats Wicks made 159m!!!. What an effort. Compare that to Lussick's massive 47m. Seriously piss this blow arse off.

* Peats is still recovering from that knee and must be given more time.

* We missed Semi as much as Hayne out there.

* I've never been prouder despite the loss.

* f**k I hate the dogs.

Bar injuries, Peats & Takarangi's 80 minute fitness will improve and with Wicks already proving he's a top 17 player our squad will improve at least another 20% over the coming 6 weeks.

Wicks
Wotmough
Tepai
Mau
Mannah
Jnr Paulo (when he comes back)
Lussick
Gower
Peats
De Gois
Joseph Paulo
Pauli Pauli (when he gets back)

Wow, this easily is a top 6 pack of forwards.
If we can sort a few issues out in the backs we'll be top 4.
