ive got both the 2004 and 2005 nswrl finals on tape and am currently converting them to dvd plus i have all the winfield magic memories and the old big league video magazines, the 99 nrl season in review, cowboys and bulldogs 04 season reviews, cowboys 2005 season review, 25 years of state of origin

i used to have a bunch of games and footy shows from 03-05 but i usually taped over them after a while plus i have the super league gf between brisbane and cronulla but its kinda dirty and you can only really get bits and pieces of the match

This years grand final was the first I had not taped for a long time, prior to that my father taped them.
Hence, there's all kinds of games from the 80's, the 89 grand final, 80's origin, a sh*tload of early 90's games and finals and some mid 90's origin with a few tests.

Its weird, I've got all the GF's since 1998 but no VCR anymore.
Pointless at times anyway, some GF's I have not watched again.

1983 GF (complete with pre-match entertainment and the ads in between, for things like the Rank Arena VCR with 'High speed picture finder' and the all new Toyota Corona).

1986 GF (no ads unfortunately, but various news reports from that evening on the match, including scalpers giving away free GF tickets outside the ground with $50 boxes of chocolates :lol

Some phenomenal lists here. I didn't think anyone used videos anymore. Surely nine (plus other channels) would have archives of every game ever televised.

I only have the 96 finals series games involving Saints and a reserve grade game from canberra, i think it may be against the tigers where it was snowing (can't remember what year that is and i don't actually have a vcr anymore to check).. It was amusing to watch though.

Have the 99 GF somewhere as well but have never watched it.

It was 2000. I saw the game at a relatives house and couldn't record it. I'd love to be able to get a copy. Maybe you could borrow someones vcr and connect it to a DVD recorder.

I remember some Reds games were on Ch 9 but shown at like midnight, and was more Perth local (David Morrow calling the game)

I dont ever recall a Western Reds game on Ch 9 Sydney (Rabs, Sterlo and Fatty).

Best I probably saw them live was on Fox Super League 97.
