Gasnier back round 19-20

Heard on the Sunday Roast today that Gaz is doing really great with his rehab, and there is a good chance that he will be back round 19 or 20.

This is great news if it happens!

It'll take him about 3 - 4 games just to cacth up let alone do catholic mass.

this is good news, hopefully he doesnt have any set backs but it would be good to see him out there this season

Even if he was back next week, I don't think that this is the kind of injury that he's going to be returning to 100% from this year. Don't expect him to pull us from sneaking into the eight to holding aloft the Trophy this year by himself, it's going to have to be a gargantuan effort from everyone.

I think Cooper is really struggling out there without Gaz beside him.

Plus i reckon Head and Youngie are becoming a pretty good halves combo.
Why play the majority of the season with one halves combo - then 4 weeks out from the finals screw around with it?

I agree Cooper is struggling now as without Gasnier there teams can really focus on him in defence rather than the double threat of him and Gaz on either side, no disrespect to Chase/Lulia but at this stage they are still developing their games

Steel Dragon - they don't play "beside" each other that often at all but I know what you mean...

I can't see the point in risking Gaz if we're only going to scrape in to the 8 & earn the right to cop a flogging away in Melbourne in Week One.

we are lacking scoring options, we need him back to create things outa nothing. If we are sitting around 10th with 5 games to play and he returns we will make the 8
