Waqa was atrocious tonight.
Creighton will be very hungry for a bit of payback, I am going to put some $$ on him getting a hat trick when we play them.

Some context for that game. It was Cleary's first game back after the Covid break and his 2 game suspension. Not saying we would've won but we have a different team dynamic now with the halves having actually played together for a bunch of games in a row.

Lost Capewell early and no Edwards. So wasn't entirely representation of how we will line up come finals

Good point. If Cleary wasn't suspended, and we didn't have a 10 minute lapse, we would have won.

Plus Critta would’ve learned some valuable defensive lessons since then.
Yep. If your players are willing to learn and work harder sometimes the loss might be of benefit in the long-term. They suck at the time. But if you have a flaw exposed and work to fix it then our premiership chances improve.

Also can help re-ignite the fire if winning becomes a bit easy. I think we're far from our best in part because winning has become a habit. The best thing though is when you barely beat a bad team and kind of play bad enough the players and coach are disappointed. Getting the 2 points and the wake up call.
