Here’s his 6 years as an attacking coach, and where his teams ranked offensively.

Kinda speaks for itself.

His two worst years are when he worked with Ivan.

The only year Brooks looked like a FG player was under Ivan and Webster. Regardless our roster is better than any he had worked with

They had a very ordinary roster though. If he can make Brooks look good then who knows what he can do with this side

He’s obviously going to do better than he has before with our squad, but I have serious doubts he’s the guy to get the best out of the team. Even if you consider one good year for Brooks, there’s still been another 3 ordinary years with Brooks.

Who else is available though? Assistants have a short shelf life either way. So likely only does the one season

Ivan’s strong suit has never been recruitment. I fear this decision might’ve been made out of friendship.
I hope not. I don’t think Ivan would be that stupid to do something like hiring a friend knowing it would make the team perform worse. we all saw the amount of pressure and public scrutiny he and Nathan were under last year when we were performing below expectations

It is done by committee now. So just being a mate won't get you hired

He has not been an attacking coach for the past 6 years. He has only coached attack on a moderate basis.

At the Warriors (under Andrew McFadden) he was one of several assistant coaches. Tony Iro was mainly responsible for attack. Justin Morgan was responsible for Defence in the years Webster was at the Warriors.
Webster mainly learnt and played a supporting role.

Webster came back to the Tigers in 2017 as an additional defensive coach under Jason Taylor. The experienced Craig Sandercock was responsible for attack and did so later under Ivan.
Webster contributed to both attack and defence during the Ivan years.
He had some imput in attack last year, I use the term 'imput' that is what one has under a control freak like madge, a job can be hard to do under him.

Shane Millard was responsible for the Tigers attack this season.

Don't bother looking at his interim coaching record at the Tigers after Taylor got the sack. He was thrown to the Wolves and had limited support.

He has had good success as a lower grade coach.

He is very popular among the players (especially young ones) and he has a good analytical brain.

Would you rate him better than Trent Barrett?
