Oops! Betting against Brady IMO, was a big risk.

I cant do it that way. I actually didn't consider splitting the bet just in case, which was maybe more sensible since yesterday's game I thought was even.

This is insane. I can not remember a sponsor doing this before? Obviously, Laundry isn't use to people saying no to him.

Maybe Laundy would do better scouting and developing his own players, rather than poaching them while still under contract and then demanding they be released. You know, pull your weight in the game instead of being a leech. He seems to model himself on Politis, that is how Politis has made the Roosters successful. Even when the Roosters poached Tedesco, they waited until his current commitments were over, they didn't try to force him to move early. The Knights had to wait a year for Ponga, it happens all the time. Squealing to media will not help you.

I hope that Penrith make it clear that any more pressure to release will result in all options being cancelled and retaining Burton. The NRL should be intervening already - they should fine Canterbury for not respecting contracts and bring the game into disrepute.

Players do get releases all the time.
If I did business with Laundry over one of his Hotels, would I get a release from a deal I didn't like?
No way.
He should stick to his business and let the clubs repective managements deal with it privately.
