Rooster folk have blamed him for Cordner dying with the ball but you know what they're like.I have not heard anyone bag Cleary's performance.

Ever since they changed the paper so they could print in colour, the Tele don't take shit off no-one. You'd be just as successful wiping your bum on the online version. If you used the DT for wiping your bum on the dunny, you'd get more shit coming off the newspaper.

He's not Kikau after all.Passing to Cordner for a hitup on last like that was not the play.

I can't find that thread.Have read of the Cleary/Ponga thread. Panther Daz has a good go.
Moylan came back from Origin 2016 in god mode. Mansour coming back from Origin was about the best winger in the comp. Gordon 2010 played an Origin match and his game went to a new level. He has played Origin now. Most players come back to club football and improve their game. I think we will learn a lot about his true potential at the back end of this season.

Cleary was fantastic for a 20 year old halfback making his debut. But he wasn't a superstar dominating the game. He just did his job safely. Hopefully in Game 3 with nothing on the line he tries his hand at being more creative
People will have differing opinions on an individual performance, it doesn't mean people are turning on him.
I still can't find that post. Oh well I must be having a senior moment. That's just one example and I was probably a little dramatic with my first comment.

Thanks, Copperhead, I shall read it now.

All this form though came after Game 3 once Origin was behind them. But since the series is wrapped up we might see the improvement sooner.

Can anyone think of a 20 year old half in SOO?
I think Allan Langer made his Origin debut at 20 or 21.
