I think I only get 50gb per month. So that means I could use it all up in less than 1 minute. That'd be no good.

You'll find that most of the (NBN connected) population will be on unlimited bandwidth by 2015.

Like Foxtel, it will be outside your house and there to connnect if you want it.

No you wont.

You will find that those who have existing plans will use the internet as they do now. Those on the NBN will pay a hell of a lot more or they will become very aware of their capacity limits and moderate their use accordingly. The NBN plans/limits are prohibitively expensive in comparison to what people have today. Anyone who suggests otherwise is bullshitting.

Oh what utter rubbish. 10 seconds on Google shows that the basic Internode NBN plan is $50/month, which is $10 less than their basic ADSL bundle plan. For the 300G plan it's $30 cheaper a month than the same ADSL plan.

You're the one who's bullshitting. Goes with the territory for NBN haters. You'd probably have us back using tin cans and a f**king piece of string.

I gather I'd be one of those 93%. How does that translate into the download of a LU page? Sounds like almost instantaneous.

Abbott said on Sky tonight hat he won't allow his party to make individual conscience votes on the gay marriage bill in the new year, notwithstanding the liberal party's tradition of alllowing members to make conscience votes.

I may be wrong but I thought every house would get connected (as in, cabling right down to the house) which is part of the reason why it is so expensive?

What a dumb idea that was. Who needed a telephone any way, right?

Well, we really want mobile technology for our phones, right? Not landlines?
