Throwing a bone out to us; I suspect the NRL know that the on field and then MRC shocking soft decision on AS weighed against the contra harsh and unwarranted binning and grading of Sua indefensible.
Reading reports and Annesely apparent comments about ‘different opinions, autonomy of MRC seemingly to do as it likes, judgements ( guesses? ) on tackle force, pressure on the refs in split decision’ blah blah blah demonstrates the loathsome banning of Sua for the big game against Eels was a disgrace. May have had something to do with Burgess situation. Doesn’t the seeming admission that the MRC can do as it likes without interference or NRL oversight shows the tremendous power this small group apparently lead by one person for final say on matters has on who makes the semis?
