Yes, that would be too embarrassing. You cant signal 10 and then call a bloke back...

Let's not burn the bloke over it. It was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. At the end of the day though he had a brain snap. He knows the rule. As one of the commentators said he must have thought there was a play the ball to make that call. He made a mistake, he should be sat down for the rest of the year, we have more geniused nonsensical rules than the offside to sort out.
Best decision ever.
And yet they can signal a goal line drop out, have the kicking team f**k around until a replay is shown, and then have the video referee overrule the decision and give them a 20m restart. You cant signal 10 and then call a bloke back...

A 40 metre offside call though? Get your hand off it. It is one of the worst big calls I have ever seen. If the Broncos had of lost the outrage would have been worse
Cummings will get a week off and be back for week one of the finals. I expect to see him in the gossip pages next week partying in Bali with Todd and Wade.
How long do you think it took for any of the officials to realise that a mistake had been made? If I really strain myself I can imagine how Cummins might have thought for a second that Marshall had been tackled and that a play the ball had occurred.
Surely though in the 45 seconds it took for Gillett to leave the field it might have occurred to any one of the five officials that a major f**k up had just taken place and that they still had the chance to correct it.
It boggles the mind.
Lets not forget that apparently a player can assist a try after taking an air swing and letting a ball propel forward off his chest, even after an on field ref could see he f**ked up.
