In NZ you give way to the person on the right which usually happens to be the first vehicle that enters the roundabout but not always. ie 2 cars approaching a roundabout and the one on the left reaches the line fractionally ahead of the one on the right, the one on the left should give way.

To be perfectly honest I have no idea of the rules, but my method is to enter from an outside lane and stay on the bastard till I want to exit.I give way to the right and semi-trailors prior to entering the roundabout.
Sometimes I go around about 4 times just for fun.Roundabouties use less juice than blockies.

The general rule in entering a 2 lane round about is that if u are turning left, u get in the left lane, if u r going straight u can take either lane or if u r heading right u take the right lane. The left lane is usually not intended to be used if u going right at the roundabout.

As for 6 entry roundabouts, work it out yourself!

I usually give way to cars already in the round about from the right and those who are about to enter it. I always thought it was common sense, a judgement call if u will :)

G'day everyone.
Does anyone have a list handy, or can direct me to a URL, which has the list of different computer keyboard commands?
For example: Ctrl C=copy -Ctrl V=paste - Ctrl W=close currentwindow - Ctrl N=open new window etc..etc..
I've been told there are a number of other commands. Iwould be very appreciative if someone can help me. Thankyou.

Ozbash, keyboard commands are essential. :)

Not only for when your mouse is stuffed but also when you hit a dialog box or pop up window without drop down menus.

Pre-windows, we didnt have the file menus and relied totally on keyboard commands. To my way of thinking, the mouse has become a handy accessory.

My faveis to drag the mouse over the entire text and hitCRTL+C (= copy) which I do everytime before sending a message... MSN being somewhat unreliable.

A former NSW Police badge is what he is Tomahawk.
(I thought both these had been adressed here, but couldn't track em down......)
Two questions. One: What's a good and effective way (programme or da like)of eliminating spamming through e-mails? and Two: what's a good and effective way of ridding those bloody pop up ads and advertising every time you surf the web? Grrr...!!!

That's funny. I don't remember deleting my own post. Hmmm?
Anyway here's an edited version of what I posted.
Give the two of these a twirl RagingBulldog -

In closing, this isn't the type of forum I was told it would be like when it was recomended to me by another member. I thought it was predominantly a Rugby League forum. But I've found that not only does the game and all its sundries get a bagging to the extreme, and needlessley, but worthless sports like boxing and rugby union are represented to too much praise. The game doesn't need {supposed} fans trying to pinpoint all that is wrong with the game, it needs {true} fans who will point out its positives and work on rectifying it niggling problems. You all don't seem to get the jist of the problem at hand. And if you do, you certainly don't know how to approach and amend it. Just a sad forum for people to drop a load, is what it seems to me to be.
Too much bitching, hypocritesand worthless reads for my taste. Solutions don't seem to be the way here...more like igniting an inferno. So I'm out of here and heading back to where more common sense prevails. Grandstand Rugby League.
Good luck to you all.
Just had to let my thoughts be heard before departure.
ps: I go under a different user name at Grandstand Rugby League, so give up trying to figure out who I may be.

I think it's sad you feel that way Tomahawk but we value freedom of speech very highly here, including yours and if you took the time to sift through the posts from the last twelve months, I believe you would find at least fifty discussions on how to improve Rugby League. The majority of people join because there is a huge variety of topics to discuss ranging from Rugby League to politics and major world events to Raidpatch's tips on how to beat the law. It also gives a way to move forward in the offseason.

Tomahawk, what you also have to remember is, most of us follow more than one sport and even though I dislike union, people will talk about it herebecause places like grandstand do not let you air your views and challenge the status quo like you can do here.

My only challenge to you Tomahawak, would be to start your own post on a topic you feel passionately about and I think you will find the debate and criticisms far more constructive than any other forum on the net.

Thanks for your time.

Tomohawk:

In regards to your parting shot...

"Too much bitching, hypocritesand worthless reads for my taste... I'm out of here and heading back to where more common sense prevails. Grandstand Rugby League."
LMAO... We are talking about the same place are we? That place is bitch central... Very funny.

Its a good thing that you have quickly deleted your profile after talking all that crap. Its something most people would have been embarrassed by as well.

Clearly you've only just popped in, made a quick judgment and popped out... hardly worth the trouble. You expected something else and you wanted it now... wellladdie,we don't always get what we want... grow up. Besides, I don't believe you.

You deleted your post and then suggested that you didnt and then you say this little gem, "I go under a different user name at Grandstand Rugby League, so give up trying to figure out who I may be."
Do you really think you anyone gives a shit?

Your worthless and shallow attempt at plugging Grandstand was really sad to see. We are happy to promote any other forum and unlike Grandstand, your post would not have been deleted for doing so.

I hope you find what you're looking for.

Thanks again as your post in the URL's you provided helped me out greatly.

LMAO... You have to love the type of person who, although over the 'net is completely anonymous, feels the need to put the knife in the back then run off before anyone see's her. For reasons of my own I very rarely read the above mentioned forums, more so I just have a look when there's mention of an interesting/stoopid article. But for the sake of my own curiosity I went for a gander & low & behold there were much the same posts on much the same subjects. The content of the posts thoughactually reminded me alot of WORL but with better looking frilly bits.I knew there was a reason I stayed here...;)
