Marsters also dropped it cold. He wasn't on his own there but those handling errors hurt us.

I reckon we have bigger problems. We need to grind out games. We were right in the game against the Dogs and then we went to pieces. It wasn't the ability of the players. It was their attitude.

It is an issue and it will hurt us but I figure we need to get the team to be consistent throughout the game and the season first.

This aged well.

Sometimes I feel bad for foreshadowing but this thread is just cruel...

Goal kicking is seriously giving me night terrors. Can Mbye just kicked them? Benji? Farah? Notorious murderer John Booth?

I have no idea

Macguire is going to have to do something about goal kicking quick because Marsters knows he lost that game for us last night. One more bad game with the boot and his confidence in his whole game will be shot, then he will be totally useless....can't kick, can't catch and can't set up his outside man......

I bet he kicks them perfectly at training but then can't kick under the pressure of the game. That's the only reason I can think of for missing from in front. Plus he seems to have no technique.

This aged well.

To be fair to me that kicking performance was the worst I've seen ever. He was kicking at something like 70%. Even when you checked the stats from last year it wasn't that bad.

Marsters has gone backwards in his kicking game considerably.

He has made a lot of mistakes in general play this season as well that have hurt us. Fonua is looking a much safer option than Marsters at the moment.

Just a query- was it Masters who lost his grandfather recently? If so, maybe thats it. Maybe he needs some time off to get his head right.

You would have to think that if Hodgo assessed every 80 min player's ability to at least quickly learn to kick that he couldnt find someone better ..in the meantime i'd give it to Farah..at least he gets the 90 percenters and is used to pressure

Tiger05,you will find he was at 75%....Mainly because they were all under or next to the posts.
I have NEVER seen him kick a goal from the sideline.
