both are good players .When we made the semi finals 2 years ago coote was killing it leading club try scorer and i think 2nd on try scorers in the nrl .Both can handle the job.Gordon plus is he can psay several positions coote is a straight out fullback

Yes.......

Gordon is coming across as a selfish up-himself merkin. Play where the coach wants you to play for the betterment of the team.

If he really does leave to play fullback, it's a great opportunity for the Tigers to pounce, no pun intended. Would greatly improve their team and chances of winning the comp.

Offensivly Barba is a Knife Defensivly he is absolutely horrible. I think Gordon would be the best addition to the Bulldogs stick Barba in the halves imo :)

Three years without a genuine fullback is almost as bad as five years without a genuine halfback. I'm surprised the Tigers have been as successful as they have been without either.

As a Panthers supporter I truly hope that Gordon gets what he wants and wouldn't hold it against him if he left. He is clearly the best fullback at the club and the way he has been f*cked around and left on the wing has decreased his value as a player and held him back from earning the sort of money he deserves.

Before his run at fullback most non Panthers fans just thought he was a solid winger. But when given the chance at fullback he showed just how talented he was and how much playing on the wing at a club with a useless coach can hold a player back.

I'd happily have us pay him $400k a season to play fullback. If Jennings is on anywhere near the $500k he was reported to be earning, then Flash is easily worth that and much more. He has an enormous workrate at an incredibly high standard, and he was our only back last year to create opportunities on his own and actually be threatening outside of the opposition 20.

cleary will sort it out, be silly to let gordon go. gordon may play 5/8 .

Austin and sejaka are miles ahead as 5/8 rught now and are the front runners for 5/8.Gordon has been doing some work at center may be the answer

Gordon has been in first grade since 2006 and has long deserved a better position in the team. He's easily better then 90% of the players to play centre in that time and in his time at fullback easily destroyed the fullback he replaced and was our best player on the field without fail.

Football is a job and he has basically been overlooked for better opportunities that would increase his value as a player. Had he been playing fullback or centre he could easily have been earning $300k+ and over a few years that would put him much better off then he is now.

This could be his last contract and he deserves as much money as he can possibly get and to finish his career up in his best position. Especially when he's so much better at that position then the bloke being selected ahead of him. I don't care if Coote is considered a specialist fullback. Flash Gordon is better and Coote should be the one having to make do at an other position and if he can't hack it there he shouldn't be in first grade.

Watch last night gumbie? Was great in defense, not to mention took all the bombs VERY easily.

Coote > Gordon... If the titans signed him and did not release anyone it would be a joke. The tigers would be awesome with Gordon though

Sure doggiesbro cause one game makes the player You once again show why you are a complete and utter waste of time.

I am not saying he is a bad player just saying when people say he has defensive holes in his game they are 100% correct. He caught one bomb and from memory it was an easy take with tons of room and zero pressure.

Go back to your hole and eat your own bile K thanks.

Agreed. Gordon can gain 200m on the wing & at fullback there is no reason he can't do the same in the centres. Coote doesn't play in the 1 we lose his support play & long kicking game.

Gordon will do the same in wing or Centre & is better at both then everyone except Jennings. 1 will go but at 29 it will probably be Gordon
