Great news for Melbourne Storm!!

But Stewarts not playing? You can't be talking about Hayne as one of the best fullbacks because he's one of the worst.

He'a liability at fullback and that was glaringly obvious in the parra v dogs game.

*WARNING TO ALL AUSTRALIANS*

A seriously deranged lunatic has gone missing from a mental asylum. If you see Mark Rudd stay well clear of him and call the officials immediately.

Nothing new for the Storm

But then again, if Slater was in the position Hayne was in, Parra fans would be pissed that he got to play.

I'm just glad to see two of the best fullbacks in the game battling it out in the GF :)

For what it's worth, I wouldn't have been mad to see the opposition player play if the tables were turned. If the player (Slater, as per your example) had no carry over points, then he should be free to play and I am happy with the bloke being charged but not suspended (if they don't have enough points). And I would feel the same for any player.

But that's me.

Good to see the old boys NSWRL network alive and well! No wonder non Sydney teams wanted out in '95. Joke of a decision. How kneeing someone in the head is considered less of a crime than rapping your arm around their neck or sticking your foot in to where the ball is beiing planted down is anyones guess?

Our first "conspiracy theorist". Took longer than I thought it would.

At least we all have teams to support . That'll teach you to SELL OUT (after only one single year too). If we ever decide to let you back in, you could be called the Perth Judas'

i think the some Melbourne fans seem to have missed the point of the OP. It was a shot at the NRL, judiciary and Parra, not the Storm

It must really hurt some of you to see us in the GF yet again. Don't worry there is more to look forward to next year cause if anything we are getting better.
It hurts me even more that Melbourne are in the competition.

Of course you are getting better... until Mexicans give a sh*t about the Storm, you will get a free ride every year.

this thread is the worst thread on here! jelousy is a curse guys, just because we are good, dosent mean you have to bring us down!
Did you support Melbourne at the start of the game last weekend, or were you waiting to see which way the wind blew?
Did you get angry with yourself when the Storm beat the Broncos?
Did you make fun of the Warriors to make yourself feel better about Brisbane, or was the Storm bandwagon going to fast to care?

The Storm's preparation has been relatively quiet and there has been by comparison with 08 not much bitching about the Storm's tactics. I find the Storm's attack more enterprising and not so methodical these days too. I think alot of the bitterness about the Storm winning with dirty plays and a boring methodical style is no longer relevant. The Storm still wrestle and occasionally grapple, but nothing like last year. They've re-invented themselves.

And no I'm not a Storm bandwagoner this year, Its a good grand final for me because whoever wins, I'm happy enough. First time since 2005, that there hasn't been a team I dislike in the GF. Kudos to Storm for knocking out Broncos and Eels for proving me so wrong after I backed them for the spoon at one stage. Lucky I only bet a small amount.

Supporting Parra, I have all respect for Storm this season.

When Slater, Smith and Bellamy backed Hayne for the GF, it proved what my perceived expectations were wrong, and showed them up to be great sportsmen.

2007 I was dirty over the Cayless incident, but this year I honestly have admiration for them as a team.
